Just before things started getting crazy in the world, I came across Dove Amplified Textures natural hair line as I was roaming through Target (something I love to do). Now I’ve been a huge Dove fan and user for years now. I love Dove’s body washes and am always looking out for new fragrances just to give them a try. I also love the invisible deodorant spray because it is LEGIT invisible and deodorant stains are a faint memory. So I was very intrigued in putting the Dove Amplified Textures products to the test on my afro-textured 4c hair.
Speaking of natural hair, I also wanted to mention that Dove is also a brand I wholeheartedly support because of the work they’re doing surrounding the C.R.O.W.N. Act. The C.R.O.W.N. Act essentially seeks to ban natural hair discrimination in workplaces across the nation. While I haven’t experience discrimination surrounding my natural hair, I have experienced not so passive microagressions over my fro from being implicated in voodoo, I’ve also been labeled a rasta, to being asked if I needed a comb. So when a brand like Dove gets on board with movement to combat discriminatory nonsenses, I get on board with supporting.

- Dove Amplified Textures Twist in Moisture Shaping Butter Cream – Styled on damp to wet hair. Rewetting with a spray bottle as needed.
So I hope you find this 4c Hair Wash Day / Review helpful and if you did share on social media with your naturalista friends.
