Is ZARA plus size friendly? Let’s find out together shall we? Have y’all ever been roaming the mall and come across stores you were intimidated to go into because clearly the clothing was meant for small/skinny women! Not that you didn’t love the clothing but that you just assumed there’d be not a damn thing in there for you? DEAL MAKERS

Zara is definitely does great imo with diversity of models (ethnicity wise). I love to see all the shades of brown as I scroll. I also love that there are models with varying hair textures in very carefree styles! Not to mention they have fashion forward footwear for my size 11 feet. Big feet girls want cute shoes too!  

So What’s the Hold Up With Shopping There

Just like you’d probably never catch me in a store that’s way out of my budget, I hadn’t given ZARA a thought because I assumed it was for “regular” sized women , but that all changed when I saw this dress. I was feeling the vibe and knew I had to give it a try. So I said a vain prayer to the fashion gods, ordered the largest size, and…   Now that I frequently browse the website I realize that they do have sizes as big as XXL. I would consider myself a solid 2x, but depending on many body factors 3x girls could get into Zara as well. Hopefully sooner rather than later Zara will go full on size inclusive in their clothing and even their models! Speaking it into the universe!

I’m calling it! Plus size striped everything is where it’s at this summer season. After reading that you probably shrieked in delight because you love stripes or your anxiety went up just a tad bit because…stripes + curves. Either way I feel you and I wanted to introduce you to the wonderful trend of stripes that’s currently happening. For a long time we’ve been fed this ridiculous fashion rule that plus size striped anything was not good for our bodies. Bullocks. Trash. Utter lies and nonsense! I’ve been peeping this trend and wanted to share with you my first plus size striped dress that I picked up. If you follow a lot of plus size bloggers like myself (@froplusfashion) on Instagram or you follow the Who What Wear collection, then there’s no way you missed this colorful striped dress. If so allow me to introduce it. This dress is everything I didn’t know I needed for the summer. It’s giving me colors, ruffles, and the carefree but still put together vibe that’s aesthetic goals for me all summer. This dress comes in regular size and plus size, but guess what size I’m wearing?  A medium! While I love how big and flowy the dress would look in my usual 1x/2x (16/18). Sizing way down to a medium gave just a tease of curves around my hips. I went a bit fancy for this look with feathered heels, but I would easily dress it down with some sandals or sneakers. It started raining during this shoot, but clearly that couldn’t stop my shine. I’m seeing stripes on all of my favorite places to shop for plus size clothing and I want you to get in on the action.
