My love affair with creating Zara plus size outfits continues with this recent find. Zara isn’t a plus size brand and with a size XL AND XXL it’s lightly teasing us all. I shared my full thoughts on Shopping at Zara When Plus Size, but let me reiterate it here.
If Zara goes plus size, it will be a top brand in the plus size community.

They have one of the best examples of inclusivity and representation I’ve seen to a point. While that inclusivity and representation stays within the confines of straight sizes, I see a lot of potential. If they do EXACTLY what they’re doing now, but include plus sizes and varying plus body shapes…perfection!
Zara Plus Size Summer Outfit
Why Am I on Zara?
Sometimes I hop on Zara’s site just for upliftment and inspiration. I’ve seen every shade of brown and black, every hair texture and hairstyle, every age, and the age spots and wrinkles that naturally come along with it. The chill yet sophisticated aesthetic is refreshing from the usual sexy model vibe that we get from other popular fashion sites. It feels real.
Ok I think we all get the picture of how much I want Zara to go plus size, but lets get into this top. The pieces that really pull me in as usual are “Ready-to-Wear Extra” and this pleated white top is all of that. Similar to the model I paired it with some denim and block heeled sandals, but the summer style possibilities are endless. The top does have a bit of a peplum flair to it, so I styled it with skinny jeans to further define my curves (more talks on plus size peplum tops here).
I got this top in XXL which is the largest size I’ve seen Zara come out with so far. I’m a full 40D, size 16, and I usually fit in XXL and 1X sizes. I knew this top would work for me based on key details I look at in pieces I’m considering. If you need tips on shopping at Zara when plus size check out my previous Zara post here!
Have you successfully bought pieces from Zara as someone who is plus sized? Does this inspire you to give it a try?
